Online Presence for Therapists: Developing and Enhancing your Private Practice Website

About this CPD

This informative and interactive CPD workshop aims to demystify some of the technological aspects of being a therapist in private practice by addressing essential elements for establishing a robust online presence on the Internet. We will discuss the importance of defining your Branding, cover basic website concepts and their terminology, and explore ways to create a user-friendly website for your private practice. We will also delve into ways of creating engaging content, ways that allow us to understand how people interact with our websites, as well as GDPR compliance and how to optimise websites in order to rank on search engines and have a more visible online presence. By the end of this workshop, you will be equipped with knowledge and practical strategies for building and maintaining an impactful internet presence for your private practice. Next date workshop will run: 5 June 2024, 6-8.30pm (BST). After enrolling, all participants will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link to join on the day of the CPD event. Speaker's Bio Tony Georgiadis is a BACP-registered Psychodynamic Therapist and Counsellor currently in private practice, and a recent graduate of the Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling. Alongside his psychotherapy qualifications, Tony holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science, backed by years of experience as a software engineer and software delivery manager in the IT industry. Tony recognises the pivotal role of technology for psychotherapists and is dedicated to demystifying and simplifying the complexities that are often perceived as too daunting. His goal is to bridge the gap between psychotherapy and technology, making the latter more accessible and understandable for therapists.
